The hard batch surfaced a whole class of papers the existing fields couldn’t absorb. The fix wasn’t better wording in an existing field. It was a new field, ahead of the others, asking a question the earlier drafts had left implicit.
When an edge case is a whole category, the absorber is a field, not a clarification.
